Arsenal submit bid for striker as Mikel Arteta eyes statement signing
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is prioritising a move for a striker in the summer. The Gunners were beaten to the Premier League title by Manchester City again after competing till the last game of the season. In order to go one step forward, the club feels adding an attacker to the team would help them end the dominance of Pep Guardiola’s team. Arsenal have identified RB Leipzig attacker Benjamin Sesko as a potential summer signing. According to Football Transfers , Arsenal have put in an offer to buy Sesko. The Gunners are hopeful that the sum, which is estimated to be about €55 million (£46.8 million), would be approved.
